Frances Pisacane first became interested in fiddling as a kid attending the annual folk and bluegrass festivals in the Washington, D.C. area. As a teen she played with the Capitol Quicksteps, a high-energy contra dance band known for their big-band arrangements, all the while continuing her classical violin studies. After graduating from Northwestern University’s School of Music she moved to Tampa, where she currently teaches and performs. From Celtic to Classical, solo to orchestral, she touches the hearts of all who experience her gentle mastery of her instrument.
Jasmine Hart, a native of the Tampa Bay area, has been playing guitar and writing songs since she was a little girl in St. Petersburg. For her ninth birthday, she received a full-sized Sears Silvertone Jumbo guitar "with the f-holes!". She picked up the electric bass in 1992 because somebody had to do it. In her travels she has played guitar, bass and mandolin with various Celtic, folk, rock and contra dance bands from San Francisco to London's Camden Lock District. While still working with a couple other local groups, Jasmine has recently been concentrating on writing new music with Juniper.
